Katie Zieker
Wellness Coordinator & Administrative Manager
Katie Zieker is the Administrative Manager at the Colorado Women’s Center with experience in mental health reception, administrative support, and client services. At the Colorado Women’s Center, she supports matching clients to their therapists and scheduling. Katie received her BA in Psychology at Sonoma State University, which further fuels her passion for the meaningful work done at the Colorado Women’s Center as well as being there for those in need. She understands the importance of mental health advocacy for everyone, especially for women and the LGBTQ+ community.
Katie was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in California before moving to Colorado. While pursuing her college degree, Katie worked as volunteer coordinator at a local non-profit organization. During this time, she was able to organize outreach events as well as empower her peers to give back to their community, something that she values and strives to include in her daily life. One of her core tenants is making sure that people in her community are taken care of and supported.
When she is not at the Colorado Women’s Center helping others, you can catch Katie at the local movie theater, cooking, and exploring the beautiful outdoors that Colorado has to offer.
