Amy Lowe, MSW, LCSW, LAC
Amy is a seasoned therapist with a Master of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and brings over a decade of diverse counseling experience to Colorado Women's Center. She is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves, navigate life's challenges, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. Amy recognizes the many ways we adapt to meet the demands of life and provides a compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, heal, and grow.
Amy creates a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel supported and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families and is passionate about helping clients strengthen relationships, deepen self-awareness, and build resilience. Her approach is tailored to each person's unique needs and integrates Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic processing, Brainspotting, and other trauma-informed approaches.
She believes therapy is a collaborative process that honors each client's pace, strengths, and lived experiences. She works alongside clients to explore patterns, gain new perspectives, and develop tools that support lasting growth and meaningful change.
In addition to her work with clients, Amy serves as the Director of Clinical Teams at Colorado Women's Center, where she provides leadership and support to clinical supervisors and managers across multiple locations. In this role, she is dedicated to fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture and supporting the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care. Her combined roles as a therapist and clinical leader allow her to support both clients and colleagues with insight, empathy, and dedication.
