Thirteen Approaches, One Practice

Therapy Methods for Women in Colorado

Most women arrive here having tried to sort it out alone for longer than they meant to. You do not need to know which of these you want. That is what the first call is for.

Where to Start

You Do Not Have to Choose First

Anxiety that got louder. A relationship circling the same argument. Something from years ago that still decides how your week goes. Women bring all of it to Colorado Women's Center, and almost none of them arrive naming a method.

Your Wellness Coordinator asks what is happening and matches you with a therapist who works with exactly that. The approach gets sorted out from there. The list above is here so you can see what the practice actually does, and so you can say if something on it is what you came for.

Thirteen approaches, and one conversation to work out which.

Our Promise to You

We Guarantee Our Therapist Matching

Choosing correctly from that list is not your job. Your Wellness Coordinator works it out with you on the first call, and your therapist keeps working it out after that. If the therapist is wrong for you, tell us and we'll match you with another at no additional cost.

Common Questions

Questions About Choosing a Method

Do I have to choose a method before I book?

No, and most women do not. You describe what is going on and your Wellness Coordinator matches you with a therapist who works with it. The approach gets settled between you and that therapist over the first few sessions, and it usually shifts again as the work goes on.

Can my therapist use more than one?

Yes, and most do. Therapists at Colorado Women's Center are trained in several approaches and combine them instead of running one from start to finish. What you get in week six may not be what you got in week one.

What if I want a specific method?

Say so on the Match Call and you will be matched with a therapist trained in it. That happens most often with EMDR and with the couples approaches, where women have usually done some reading before they call. Wanting something specific makes the match easier, not harder.

How soon can I start?

Match Calls are usually available within 48 hours, often within 24. Most clients are with a therapist within about a week. Offices are open seven days a week, 8am to 8pm, and online sessions run the same hours. Call 720.810.2355 or use the form on this page.
