Yazmine (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree and a Trauma Certificate from the University of Denver. She brings a trauma-informed, person-centered, and holistic approach to her work, creating a welcoming and safe therapeutic space for women. Yazmine has supported high-need individuals and families facing trauma, behavioral health concerns, and criminal justice involvement, and she has worked with clients of all ages. She specializes in helping those diagnosed with PTSD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, and Depression, and she provides compassionate care for clients who have experienced domestic violence, abuse, or neglect.
Alongside individual therapy, Yazmine works with couples and families who want to repair strained relationships, communicate more openly, and move through conflict together, whether the strain comes from a life transition, a loss, or long-standing patterns that keep resurfacing. She draws on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). At Colorado Women’s Center, she helps women recognize their own strength and resilience as they work through life’s challenges. Outside of work, Yazmine enjoys reading, writing, crafting, and exploring small towns and coffee shops.
