Allison received a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health counseling with a focus on Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.

At the Colorado Women’s Center, Allison brings grounding and authenticity to the therapeutic process to encourage clients to claim their capacity for resilience, awareness, and wholeness. Her person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy empowers her clients to connect with their authentic selves in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. As a passionate massage therapist/bodyworker of 15 years, Allison incorporates mindfulness practices and a somatic orientation into her work and believes deeply in the power of the mind-body-spirit connection and applying a holistic lens to healing and growth.

Allison offers individual and family sessions to all ages and identities and works with clients around anxiety, depression, transitions, addiction, trauma, relationships, grief, family systems, interpersonal exploration, personal empowerment, and self-love. Bringing warmth and presence to her sessions, Allison assists clients in entering into a deeper connection with all aspects of their life. She holds a deep belief in everyone’s inherent wisdom and health and is honored to witness the vulnerability, courage, and transformation that often occurs in therapy.

Outside of therapy, Allison enjoys reading, yoga, traveling, hiking with her puppy, bluegrass festivals, hotsprings, and spending time trekking in the mountains and on Lake Michigan’s shoreline in the summer.
