How We Empower CSU Women to Navigate College Life

At Colorado Women’s Center, we recognize that college is a special time, and it can also be filled with stress, fear, and uncertainty. Our therapists are trained to help college women navigate this complex stage of life, providing a compassionate and understanding environment where you can explore your identity, manage responsibilities, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Stress therapy for women is one of the most common places we start. Many of our student clients have their first session with a new therapist within a few days of contacting us.
Young adults today are a big influence behind the #BreakTheStigma movement of mental health and therapy, which is becoming a growing part of our national conversation. We often hear from parents of Colorado State University students seeking therapy for their adult child during the college years. Many of our college student clients have moved to Colorado from out of state and prefer to build a therapeutic relationship with a local counselor near campus. Colorado Women’s Center is located on College Ave close to campus, and our student clients find the short walk, bike, or drive to our office a relaxing transition before their sessions.
