Juliana Vergaray, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than twenty years of experience supporting individuals through healing, growth, and life’s many transitions. While her career has included work in community mental health, counseling centers, clinical supervision, and graduate-level training, her greatest passion has always been working directly with clients. Juliana brings a deeply integrative and holistic approach to therapy, blending psychodynamic insight, somatic practices, and a culturally attuned, anti-oppressive perspective that honors the complexity of each person’s identity and lived experience. She works with clients navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and major life transitions, supporting both those who are
new to therapy and those seeking deeper self-exploration and healing. As a first-generation Peruvian American, Juliana’s bicultural identity meaningfully informs her work. She is passionate about creating a therapeutic space that feels grounded, affirming, and rooted in a decolonizing approach to mental health care—one that honors each client’s unique story, cultural context, and lived experience. She approaches therapy with deep care and reverence, viewing it as both a meaningful craft and a collaborative healing process. Outside of the therapy room, Juliana enjoys hiking with her beloved companion Zorro, taking Southwest road trips in search of beautiful sunsets, and sharing good food and meaningful conversation with the people she loves.
