Amanda Greathouse, LPCC holds a Master of Science in Counseling and believes that healing and meaningful change begin within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. She approaches therapy with curiosity, balancing client-led exploration with thoughtful guidance to help clients gain insight into areas where they may feel stuck or disconnected from themselves. Amanda’s work is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic practices, tailoring therapy to each
client’s unique needs and preferences. She is passionate about supporting women who want to explore the deeper parts of themselves, strengthen self-understanding, and cultivate greater self-acceptance. Amanda frequently works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, and self-esteem concerns, and she is committed to creating a therapeutic environment that feels compassionate, validating, and emotionally safe. Outside of the therapy room, Amanda enjoys finding beauty in everyday moments—chasing sunsets, exploring the outdoors with her toddler, trying new recipes, and moving her body in ways that help her feel grounded and connected.
