Therapist & Counselor

Shay Driver, MA, LPC, LAC

Shay Driver, MA, LPC, LAC, brings a deeply compassionate and integrative approach to her work at Colorado Women’s Center. A graduate of Naropa University’s Contemplative Psychotherapy, Shay honors each person’s innate worth and welcomes every part of the human experience—even those that feel difficult or unfamiliar. She believes that even our most challenging parts carry wisdom and offer opportunities for growth, healing, and self-understanding.

With experience in hospital settings, addiction treatment, psychiatric crisis care, and supporting first responders, Shay is skilled at holding space for those navigating anxiety, trauma and life transitions—such as gender identity, the move into adulthood, career changes, and the search for personal meaning and self-worth.

Shay’s approach is strengths-based and collaborative—she encourages clients to build upon their existing strengths and inner resources, offering both openness and direction as needed. Incorporating mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and existential therapies, Shay helps clients cultivate resilience and navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. She is also trained in harm reduction and pain reprocessing therapy, allowing her to meet each client exactly where they are on their journey.

At Colorado Women’s Center, Shay is honored to walk alongside clients as they embrace every facet of themselves, discover new pathways forward, and step into their most authentic, empowered lives.
