June has been involved with helping individuals for over 15 years and holds a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University. She has experience working with individuals who struggle with chronic mental illness, anxiety, low self-esteem issues, depression, relationship issues and trauma.  

June has a passion for helping individuals tap into their self-worth and self-love. She found that at the root of helping others is a gentle and compassionate approach in guiding individuals to love and be patient with themselves. 

At the Colorado Women’s Center, June helps individuals practice self-affirmations, identify and express their needs and values, and create healthy boundaries with others. She uses a mix of modalities that she has found effective over the years. She has witnessed the healing power of Dialectical Behavior Therapy which helps individuals recognize negative thought patterns. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which helps identify personal values. Mindfulness techniques that help tap into the present moment to ease anxiety and depression. June is a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist which offers relief from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She integrates a mix of deep compassion and modalities in order to guide therapy in a gentle and effective manner. June strives to create a therapeutic experience tailored to your unique needs and background.

Outside of work, June spends time with her son, husband and two cats. When she’s not with clients, you can find her creating healing environments through mid-century modern design, thrifting retro furniture and clothes, cooking, listening to music, dancing in the kitchen, hiking and going for daily walks.
