Jordyn DeBower therapist

JORDYN DEBOWER, M.A., LPCC
Therapist & Counselor

Jordyn wholeheartedly believes that all women deserve to experience a life where they feel connected to themselves and trust the magnitude of their strengths. At the Colorado Women’s Center, Jordyn aims to create a culture of acceptance with her clients and support them in developing their own narrative filled with self-compassion and purpose. Often times, we feel stuck or are overwhelmed by a constellation of confusion. Jordyn works side-by-side with her clients to help untangle the messy parts of life and instill hope and insight.

Jordyn earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from Regis University. She has experience working with women and girls across multiple life stages struggling with issues related to life transitions, anxiety, grief and loss, sexuality, depression, relational conflict, self-esteem, personal growth, body image, and trauma.

Jordyn counsels from an integrative approach, drawing from strategies and techniques that stem from a client-centered and trauma-informed lens. Her work is influenced by cognitive behavioral approaches (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy approaches (DBT), Gestalt, mindfulness-based techniques (MBT), and solution-focused therapy. Jordyn’s work is informed by a commitment to social justice and the belief that individual healing is one spoke on the wheel of collective healing. She recognizes that every individual is unique and that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy.

In her free time, Jordyn enjoys live music, traveling, playing volleyball and spending time with her pups and loved ones. She is a lover of books, coffee enthusiast, and currently in search of the best brunch spot in town.
