Emily Allison, MA, LPCC
Therapist & Counselor
At the Colorado Women’s Center, Emily Allison has a passion for helping women find their power. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is collaborative and client-driven and that building trust in the therapeutic relationship is key. Emily works with techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients develop new tools to help empower them in their everyday lives.
Emily has a BS in Psychology and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has a background working as a victims’ advocate, working with domestic violence and sexual assault victims. She also has a background working as an addiction therapist.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with friends and her dog, Wilder. She enjoys skiing and spends time each summer working towards her goal of backpacking the 2,190 mile Appalachian Trail.
