Our therapists are trained to help college women navigate this complex stage of life, providing a compassionate and understanding environment where you can explore your identity, manage responsibilities, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Many of our student clients are able to have their first session with their new therapists within a few days of contacting us.
Young adults today are a big influence behind the #BreakTheStigma movement of mental health and therapy, which is becoming a growing part of our national conversation. We often are approached by parents of CSU students who are seeking therapy for their adult child during their college years. Many of our college student clients have moved to Colorado from out of state and prefer to build a therapeutic relationship with a local counselor near campus. The Colorado Women’s Center is located on College Ave close to campus, and our student clients find the short walk, bike, or drive to our beautiful office a relaxing transition before their sessions.
