Sarah O’Keefe lives in Fort Collins, CO and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling & Guidance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
At the Colorado Women’s Center, Sarah’s approach incorporates creative, body-based mindfulness techniques, education on the how and why’s of trauma’s impact, and she loves incorporating gentle humor in sessions as one of the many forms of nervous system regulation. She has extensive training in working with trauma and dissociation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS, or “Parts Work”), and weaves these modalities together to help clients heal in a way that fits for them.
In her free time, Sarah loves hiking, camping, practicing yoga, traveling, listening to podcasts, and is almost always reading too many books at one time.
