DESCRIPTION
Are you having a rough month? Do you feel lonely and alone in your struggles? Could you benefit from talking about your struggles with other women in your community? The Women’s Empowerment Process Group is a place for you to come to talk about your struggles with other women. The Women’s Empowerment Process Group will provide a safe container to practice vulnerability and to get support from other women who can relate to you. You’re not alone. All issues are welcome.
As women, we can often lose ourselves in others. We can focus so much on taking care of others, that we forget how to take care of ourselves. Some of us only know how to feel genuinely connected to ourselves by isolating, and therefore, are wanting to learn how to build healthier relationships in our lives. Relationships are vulnerable. Learning how to listen to ourselves, while relating to others, requires practice and consistent curiosity. This adult women’s group will provide a safe and supportive environment for you to practice connecting with yourself while connecting with others. You will explore ways to practice vulnerability and deepen your sense of connection so that you can build more satisfying relationships in your life. This group will focus on the unique issues of its members and will include topics such as perfectionism, anxiety, loneliness, worthiness, and shame. You will learn how to make decisions based on your needs and feelings in a supportive environment where other women are learning how to do the same thing.
Groups provide a safe place for members to discuss the issues that each participant is facing. Groups also allow space for the practice of vulnerability as well as an opportunity for connection with other women in the community.
